Moksha is a Sanskrit term
found in the yogic philosophies that means liberation or freedom.

~

While the term traditionally refers to liberation
from the karmic cycle of rebirth,
the term has been chosen in this instance as a representation of our ability to liberate or free ourselves from the constraints of our conditioned thoughts and behaviours through a holistic approach to wellbeing.

The
Moksha Holistic Living Philosophy

Each person’s journey is unique and no solution in isolation works for very long. Lasting change is created through the adoption of small and meaningful actions that align with the Highest Self. These actions can then be maintained with self-compassion, awareness and consistency over time.

Why work with me?

I’m Erin, a registered Yoga Teacher with 750 hours of formal training and 15 years of practice. I am also a certified Life Coach and Breathwork Facilitator. I have a passion for learning about the incredible mind-body connection and love to share the many techniques I have learned that have helped me with my own healing journey.

Beyond any formal qualification, I believe that life is often our greatest teacher. After experiencing profound personal loss and grief following the passing of my mother in 2020, I have been dedicated to my pursuit of wellbeing. My yoga practice, and the more restorative practices in particular, have been an unbelievable support for my mind, body and spirit. It is from this experience that I’ve learned to teach from a place of compassion and embodiment because yoga was my constant through it all.

I consider it my purpose and greatest privilege to share the many gifts of yoga with my students.

Yin & Restorative Yoga

Virtual classes are offered via Zoom and can be done as a group or in private sessions that are fully customised to your needs.

Yin yoga is known for targeting the fascia and joints. The practice only consists of a few postures held for a few minutes each, is considered passive, but creates enough sensation to be somewhat challenging. The practice is ideal for cultivating the mind-body connection as the breath guides the body into the postures more deeply.

Restorative yoga is known for cultivating deep rest. The practice only consists of a few postures held for several minutes with lots of props to support the body. Yoga Nidra or non-sleep deep rest is also included for maximum relaxation.

Virtual Wellbeing Coaching

Virtual coaching can be completed in packages of 3 or 5 sessions.

In these coaching sessions we will connect and work through the areas of your life that you’d like to find more balance, compassion and growth.

The Moksha Holistic Living approach to coaching can also incorporate personalised yoga asana and breathwork to support your breakthroughs while co-creating your own tailored wellness and lifestyle recommendations.
